Thank you for your interest in joining the Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota. Since 1930, we have been your advocate. We don’t take this responsibility lightly.
The following are our membership qualifications:
- The agency and employees are legally licensed in and by the State of South Dakota
- The agency maintains an office for the transaction of insurance business within the State of South Dakota
- The agency and employees conduct themselves in good faith in accordance to, and without restrictions from, the State of South Dakota’s Division of Insurance.
- Pay annual dues as determined below.
For Associate members (crop-only, or life/health-only), our agency dues are $500 annually.
For P&C agencies, your dues are based on your agency’s total commissions:
