Legislative Reception.
Insurance regulations affect how we all do business. We carefully monitor all upcoming legislation and make sure that the voices of independent insurance agents are heard at the Capitol!
We host the legislative reception each year during session, and it’s a great opportunity for agents to get face-to-face with our lawmakers.
This event is a very casual and comfortable time to discuss your concerns with legislators over a cocktail or two!
May 7th 2026, Sioux falls
Women’s Conference.
This is day just for the women. MC Meg McKeen guides the event and focuses on relaxation, work-life balance, career advancement and plenty more.

E&O Roadshow.
As a member of IIASD, you get access to in-person E&O training courses which can lower your E&O Premium.
June 16th – 17th
River Days.
Join us in beautiful Pierre, SD for some summer FUN!
Try your hand at trap shooting, or compete in either our golf or fishing tournament. The golf “tournament” is a 4-man scramble, so no skills necessary! No fishing skills needed either, as attendees will be on a boat with a local “river-rat” that knows all the hot spots.
This is a great social event to connect and network with other insurance professionals from across the state!
